Our Objective
Perfect Balance USA is a Central Oregon based Non-Profit Organization working to educate the community on how your food gets from the farm to the table, and how to collectively preserve water for our ecosystems, endangered species and farmland.
By collaborating together, we can find a balance between continuing to grow and produce food, and responsibly preserving water and land, without threatening wildlife habitat, recreation or agriculture. We believe there is a solution that will inspire everyone, and our purpose is to start the conversation with education.

Educational Opportunities
Field Trips and Tours
We provide the perfect opportunity to showcase a full circle, from start to finish, food producing operation. This field trip/tour is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on opportunity into the life of what it takes to put food on the plates of those who count on it. Activity stations include:

Tractor and wagon ride. This will take you on an exclusive tour through hundreds of acres of corn, wheat and hay fields. On this ride you’ll also catch a glimpse of many different farm animals such as cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and even some barn kittens.

Voted as the favorite, the next station is a hands-on, cattle branding experience. We allow you to get your hands dirty and actually brand a cow. Our cowboys explain why we brand cattle and the benefits it offers.

Plug your nose for this one! We are very proud to be sustainable farmers and we utilize all of our natural resources…right down to our manure. You’ll get the chance to tour our compost facility and learn how we collect the natural waste products from our cows, and put it back into our farm soil for fertilizer.

Tractor and farm equipment showcase. At this station, you’ll get to tour, inspect and climb in all the equipment it takes to harvest food.

Wow! What are those mountains made of? Here is where you’ll get to view large piles of grain that are harvested off the farm for cattle consumption. You can crawl up the mountains of grain, run it through your fingers, and even walk out with some in your boots.

Farm animal petting zoo. This is where visitors get to cuddle, groom and feed all of the friendly farm animals.

Last, but certainly not least; enjoy a BBQ lunch, made from all of our own farm grown products including the beef, all while enjoying an informative and educational slide show to wrap up the event.
